Jessica Cohen is a product designer, educator, and entrepreneur. Currently Jessica is currently launching the Tambino® brand of children's toys and furnishings . In 2009, Jessica acted as project manager for the flagship franchise of red espresso bar in Moscow. From 2007-2008, Jessica acted as manager of architecture and product design for Aroma Espresso Bar, near Tel Aviv. From 2003-2006, she ran a studio focusing on product design and innovation consulting, helping companies to innovate, design, develop, and manufacture products. She advised entrepreneurs and factory owners through programs sponsored by the Israeli Ministry of Trade and Industry (MOIT) and the Honduran Export Institute (FIDE). ABOUT JESSICA Jessica holds two degrees in product design from Stanford, A.B. and M.F.A., where she studied as a Javitz Fellow; and a Master’s in architecture from the University of California at Berkeley. Jessica is a member of the Israeli Designers' Community. She holds 3 US trademarks and 31 patents in different countries. Jessica is a lecturer on the subjects of innovation practice and industrial design, providing seminars to academia and private companies. She speaks English, French, Spanish, and Hebrew. COMMUNITY SERVICE Jessica volunteered with TZEVA, near Tel Aviv, from 2004-2010. Jessica served two years in the Israeli Defense Forces, as the first woman in an elite Border Patrol Unit. |
